Impartial Magic Marshall
Sitting on a lump sum
of pocket roses
and dice
for fun
I am the subject of nobody
Way out by the big Rock 5
By this hour,
there's always room to make time
Winter by the night
Cornerstone of the highway town
Impartial Magic Marshall
Sittin' on a limp trunk
In the shade, beneath the bloom
on a rocky afternoon
Hidden grotto in the hills,
hand-carved
Agrin off the mountain side's long face
Feel the moonlight
drip between the branches
Let the search party pick apart the days
Pass the buck, pass the buck
Pass the buck til you find yourself clean
Tender intentions
Sidearm desire
The strangest of themes
you'll encounter grown wild
But your words don't speak for themselves
Innocent is not free in the woods
So there the raft sat in the bay
One end fishing,
the other ablaze
Here awaits
a domino collecting,
hired ghost
Guard your man-prison
with the crocodile skin
For the warden thinks the beast can't be bribed from within
Unfortunately for him, a crocodile has to eat
Man has been known to carry
other appetizing feasts
Guard your man-prison
with the crocodile skin
For the warden thinks the beast can't be bribed from within
Unfortunately for him, a crocodile has to eat
And man has been known to carry
other appetizing feasts

'Tis the best album of 2018. Even with Smote Reverse and TWO Ty Segall records coming out. Yes, this is the best.
ALL the songs are great. But I believe that Fasting makes the album. U.F.NO. is the best one live. But Fasting feels like rain constantly pouring down on me. In the slimyest of ways. _thewasp_

Combining wry, cutting lyrics and whimsical arrangements, the Canadian art-rockers' latest is a tilt-a-whirl of a breakup album. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2019
